Before Server version 4.1.101, there was a bug in the Preset Sharing which can lead to crash the server, or saturate the network, especially when the number of processor sharing presets increases.

For standalone products, this has been corrected in :

  • BigVoice 2 version 1.28
  • Impact, Pulse and First version 2.14
  • Eco version 1.15

Upgrading procedure

Even if the problem may happen with only old versions, it appears that it is more likely to happen when mixing old and new versions.

To avoid a network saturation, you should follow the following procedure when upgrading :

  1. Turn off Preset Sharing on the device you will upgrade
  2. Set up a new password for preset sharing (so it will not mix with old one if enabled again)
  3. Do the upgrade
  4. Wait for upgrade to finish
  5. Turn on again the Preset Sharing (with the new password set in step 2)
